What a neat school room mom, feel like De Ja Vu,[OK,OK I can't spell ] I learned something today too,its from ISAIAH 64:4 AND 1 Corinthians 2:9 ,but I feel about the same grade in this study as your young ins do
It was about $15 on Amazon. It got mixed reviews, but it has been working fine for us. We tried the electric ones, but they kept failing us. Now if the power goes out, the kids have no excuse:-).
I think this is my favorite post of yours for the year. Thank you for sharing the details of the small moments in your life. I can't believe how big Sadie is getting. Love her handwriting!
Beautiful images... a great reminder to slow down and enjoy the moments of the day. I have so enjoyed having my boys home this year and some of my favorite moments have been the quiet ones- silently reading on the couch or watching my youngest try to master knitting.
Thanks for responding about the sharpener. I found a good review on a blog about a hand-held sharpener for $3.99 (for two) but probably easier to go lost amongst the clutter of school stuff!
Just a friendly reminder, if you know me personally please try to refrain from using my name. There are those who may try to locate me, break into my pantry and steal my pickled beets. Thanks:-).

I'm a Christian (Mennonite) stay at home mom to four wonderful children, as well as wife to one amazing pharmer (gardener/pharmacist). Our goal is to bring glory to God by living simply in order to give of ourselves and our resources.
Sweet snapshot memories of this special time in your lives! Thank you for sharing with the rest of us!
ReplyDeleteVery encouraging to a young homeschooling mom...that would be my daughter. I'm sending her this link. Thank you.

ReplyDeleteLovely pictures!
ReplyDeleteTell me is that a good pencil sharpener? We have had very bad luck with pencil sharpeners lately and I don't want to purchase another bad one!
Thanks.
Judi :)

ReplyDeleteLove the pictures. we're more of "unschoolers" around here, but I am always delighted to see the many ways school can be done at home! :)
