We each chose something we liked to eat, drew a picture of it and told her how to make it. She wrote the instructions down verbatim. Here are some of my favorites. You know, in case you'd like to try them.
I clearly need to use "stick it" more often in my recipe instructions.
My recipe contribution? Well, I wasn't too far off when it came to the method, but maybe someone needed to explain to me what cookies actually look like.
I promise I've learned a few things since then. And, lucky for you, I don't include hand-drawn pictures with my recipes anymore.
"Bake them until the buzzer goes off" Hahaha! What a fun idea for the teacher to do. I wonder what my kids would say... maybe I'll have them do this just for fun.
